Where Are You Based?
I am currently based in Stevenston, North Ayrshire
What should I wear?
This will depend entirely on what sort of session you have booked. We will discuss wardrobe selection prior to your session.
Do You Provide a Makeover Service?
Sadly, I can not offer this service. Hair and make-up will be your own responsibility.
I do have a selection of outfits for maternity, newborn, and cake smash sessions, as well as a small selection for boudoir sessions.
How long will my newborn session last?
A typical newborn session can last anywhere between 1 to 3 hours, and each one is different. My newborn sessions are baby led, so it comes down to how many times baby needs feeding or changing, how restless they are, and how many different set-ups are required. Babies can't and won't be rushed.
I always recommend allowing for an extra hour in addition to your session time, just to be on the safe side.
What if my baby or I feel poorly on the day of our session?
If anyone at all involved in your session feels unwell on the day of the session or has tested positive for coronavirus within the past week I would appreciate it if you reschedule, for the safety of everyone. And honestly, from my experience, your chances of getting good photos from a poorly baby are very slim.
Can I get the images cheaper/more of them if I edit them myself?
No. I'm sorry but I never give out unedited images to anyone. They are unfinished pieces of work and do not represent my artistic vision.
I don't agree with something in the contract, can we discuss it?
Of course! While some of the contract/agreement can't be changed there are bits I am willing to compromise on. The one section which gets asked about the most is the model release. If you don't want your images used for marketing just say so. You wouldn't be the first booking where I wasn't allowed to share the images.
While showing my work does help my business grow, I will naturally respect your right to privacy if you don't want to me to share them.
How do I pay for the session?
All retainer fees must be paid using PayPal, but don't worry if you don't have an account as I can send you an invoice. PayPal is safe and secure, your payments are protected and I will never personally have access to your card/bank details.
My preferred method of payment for the remaining balance on all sessions is cash, however, if you wish to pay the full amount by PayPal that's fine. Either way, the balance must be paid by the time you arrive for your session. No editing will be done until the full amount is paid, and I reserve the right to cancel/reschedule the session if the balance is not paid before or on arrival.
