No photos with this entry, I want to wait until the big (or maybe just bite-size) official opening, but I just wanted to give you all a quick update.
The studio is making progress. As some of you know I was doing Christmas Minis in December, but to be honest the studio wasn't completely finished. I am thankful for the understanding of those who were able to ignore the missing ceiling panels, lack of electricity, and the 'building site' environment that I have been working in since November.
My studio is in a building which is partially being refurbished, and I'm in the wing that's getting worked on. Over the weeks I have seen the area go from a huge open plan space filled with enough power tools and building materials to keep any DIY enthusiast happy, to an almost finished offce block with rooms, a corridor, and lighting.
As of yesterday, my own wee room now has power sockets and the electricity will be switched on, the lights fitted, and the ceiling panels replaced before the end of next week! So I've been told anyway, so keep your fingers crossed guys. Once that's done I just have a few wee bits n bobs to get done before I officially open. I'm thinking about holding off until February since thats when my birthday is :) It's the big 5 0 this year!
Anyway, that's it for now but keep watching this space because when I do open there will be some special offers up for grabs to celebrate!
